Auditorium of Prof. Dr. Suwito, MA SPs UIN Jakarta, SPs NEWS – The Graduate School (SPs) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held the 140th Graduation Release event. This event took place on Friday, May 22, 2026, at the Auditorium Room of Prof. Dr. Suwito, MA SPs UIN Jakarta.

This event was attended directly by all the leaders of SPs UIN Jakarta. Among them are the Director of SPs Prof. Dr. Zulkifli, MA, Deputy Director Prof. Dr. Yusuf Rahman, MA, Head of the Administration Subdivision, as well as the head and secretary of the study program, both from the Master's and Doctoral levels of Islamic Studies.

In his opening remarks, the Director of SPs UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Zulkifli, MA, conveyed his deep congratulations to all prospective graduates. He gave high appreciation and called the alumni as great people who have great courage to take and complete their studies at SPs UIN Jakarta.

Furthermore, Prof. Zul emphasized that the academic and familial ties between alumni and the campus will never be broken. He conveyed a touching message that once someone steps and becomes part of SPs, then until any time they will remain part of the big family of the Graduate School.

Not to forget, the Director of SPs also left a reflective message to the graduates to maintain the good name of their alma mater. He advised the alumni to disseminate good things about SPs to the outside, while if there are shortcomings or things that are not satisfactory, it is hoped that they can be conveyed directly to the management as evaluation and improvement material.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Director of SPs, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Rahman, MA, had the opportunity to explain the graduation profiles of master's and doctoral graduates comprehensively. In his presentation, Prof. Yusuf also specifically motivated the graduates of the master's program not to be satisfied quickly and return to continue their studies to the next level.

At this 140th graduation event, the Graduate School of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta proudly donated a total of 32 of its best graduates. This number consists of 17 graduates from the Master's program level and 15 graduates from the Doctoral program.

Gratitude and emotion also flowed from alumni representatives. Representing the graduates of the Master's program, Ahmad Afrizal Qosim expressed his infinite gratitude to the leaders of SPs, lecturers, and education staff (tendik) who have sincerely helped and guided all students from the beginning of lectures until they successfully graduated.

In line with this, Hendrikus Maku, who was present to give a message and impression on behalf of the graduates of the Doctoral program, also expressed his highest appreciation for the dedication of the leaders and lecturers of SPs. He emphasized his commitment to always devote the knowledge that has been obtained for the benefit and service of the community.

This series of release events at the faculty level is the gateway to the peak event. The procession of the 140th graduation ceremony at the university level itself was held the next day, Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the Harun Nasution Auditorium of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.

The leadership and all employees of the Graduate School congratulated and succeeded all graduates. Tucked away is a noble prayer so that the knowledge gained while studying at SPs can bring blessings in the future, and the alumni are able to dedicate their abilities for the advancement of religion, nation, and state.
