His dissertation entitled Dualism of Judicial Authority for Sharia Economic Insolvency (The Urgency of Determining al-Taflīs Status as a Religious Court Competence)  was successfully defended in front of a team of examiners consisting of Prof. Dr. Zulkifli, MA, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Amin Suma, SH, MA, MM, Prof. Dr. Abdul Gani Abdullah, SH, Dr. Yayan Sopyan, SH, M.Ag, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Sulaiman, SH, MH, Prof. Dr. Djawahir Hejazziey,  SH, MA and Prof. Dr. Ade Sofyan Mulazid, S.Ag, MH. While as Promoters are Prof. Dr. Muhammad Amin Suma, SH, MA, MM, Prof. Dr. Abdul Gani Abdullah, SH and Dr. Yayan Sopyan, SH, M.Ag.
