Doctor in Islamic Studies
- Producing Doctors in Islamic Studies who have expertise, mastery of interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary knowledge, managerial abilities as academics in the field of Islamic Studies based on Islamic teachings and ethics, scholarship, Indonesian and expertise;
- Producing Doctors in Islamic Studies who can plan, carry out, publish and manage original and creative research results in the field of Islamic Studies under the latest scientific evelopments based on Islamic teachings and ethics, science, Indonesian and expertise;
- Producing Doctors in Islamic Studies who can develop Islamic Studies normatively and theoretically to analyse, solve problems, and provide religious services based on Islamic Studies knowledge with an interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary approach by Islamic teachings and ethics, science, Indonesian and expertise.
The main profile of graduates of the DIS Programme is academics, researchers, and Major Religious Experts who can develop theories of Islamic Studies based on Islamic teachings and ethics, knowledge, and expertise and produce authentic, creative, innovative, and tested work through interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, and transdisciplinary approaches as well as being published and gaining national and international recognition.
- Academics: a PhD in Islamic Studies with expertise, mastery of interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, and transdisciplinary knowledge, managerial skills in Islamic Studies based on Islamic teachings and ethics, scholarship, Indonesian and expertise.
- Researcher: a PhD in Islamic Studies who can plan, carry out, publish, and manage original and creative research results in Islamic Studies following the latest scientific developments based on Islamic teachings and ethics, science, Indonesian, and expertise.
- Main Religious Experts: a PhD in Religious Studies who can develop Islamic Studies, both normative and theoretical, to analyse, solve problems, and provide religious services based on Islamic Studies knowledge with an interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary approach following Islamic teachings and ethics, science, Indonesian and expertise.

The Doctoral Study Program obtained accreditation A (score 4.7/Very Good) from the National Accreditation Board of Higher Education (BAN-PT) No. 002/BAN-PT/Ak-IX/S3/VI/2010 dated June 11, 2010. Graduate School Library has an important role in supporting academic activities and research which is part of the UIN Syarif Library Center Hidayatullah Jakarta. This library serves as a resource information that serves the provision of reading materials, borrowing and returns, reference materials, as well as study and discussion space. Apart from being equipped with an automation system to make things easier search for collection information independently, this library It is also equipped with WiFi access for students inside access other digital information sources whether subscribed to Central and other deep-net databases national library master catalogue.
