Graduate School Received a Visit from IAKN Palangka Raya

UIN Jakarta Graduate School Building, BERITA SEKOLAH: In an effort to improve the quality of postgraduate education at the State Christian Institute (IAKN) Palangka Raya, Graduate School (SPs) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta became a reference. SPs UIN Jakarta received a benchmarking visit from IAKN Palangka Raya on Thursday, December 19, 2024.

The delegation from IAKN Palangka Raya led directly by the Director of Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Maidiantius Tanyid, M.Th, and Deputy Director of Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Urbanus, M.Th, was warmly welcomed by the leadership of SPs UIN Jakarta. Also present at the meeting were the Director of SPs Prof. Dr. Zulkifli, MA, Deputy Director Prof. Dr. Yusuf Rahman, MA, Head of the Master Study Program Hamdani, M.Ag, Ph.D, and Prof. Dr. Abdul Mujib, M.Ag, M.Si.

This benchmarking visit aims to learn more about various aspects of postgraduate management at SPs UIN Jakarta, ranging from curriculum, learning systems, research, to human resource management. IAKN Palangka Raya is very interested in adopting the best practices that have been implemented by SPs UIN Jakarta to improve the quality of postgraduate education on its campus.

In the meeting, both parties had a very productive discussion. The team from SPs UIN Jakarta is happy to share their experience and knowledge about various innovations that have been carried out to improve the quality of postgraduate education. On the other hand, the delegation from IAKN Palangka Raya also asked various questions.

This benchmarking visit shows that SPs UIN Jakarta has been recognized as one of the superior postgraduate education institutions in Indonesia. This success is inseparable from the commitment of the entire academic community of SPs UIN Jakarta in providing quality education that is relevant to the needs of the community.

Through this benchmarking activity, it is hoped that closer cooperation will be established between SPs UIN Jakarta and IAKN Palangka Raya. This collaboration can be in the form of an exchange of lecturers, students, and research. This benchmarking visit is also a motivation for SPs UIN Jakarta to continue to innovate and improve the quality of education. (JA)
