Kristal Hotel, SPs NEWS - The Graduate School (SPs) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a Study Acceleration Consignment event for students of the Master's and Doctoral Programs in Islamic Studies. Located at the Kristal Hotel on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, this activity is a strategic step for the institution in overseeing the academic sustainability of students so that they can complete their studies on time.

This intensive agenda was attended directly by the leadership of SPs and student representatives from various generations. A total of 15 master's program students and 15 doctoral program students were recorded to be present to take part in the entire series of academic assistance.

The activity was officially opened by the Deputy Director of SPs UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Rahman, MA, who underlined the crucial importance of time efficiency in the postgraduate study level. In his direction, he emphasized that this program is designed as an academic accelerator to ensure that students graduate on time without lowering research quality standards.

Still on the same occasion, Prof. Yusuf emphasized that this consignment functions as a form of inherent supervision so that students' academic positions remain on track. He reminded the importance of time discipline so that we can map and solve research obstacles quickly and precisely.

This acceleration step is also closely related to the institution's quality agenda. Prof. Yusuf added that the accreditation period for master's programs will end in 2029, while for doctoral programs in 2030. The academic transaction year 2026 will be an important assessment instrument calculated in the upcoming reaccreditation submission by the Religious Independent Accreditation Institute (LAMGAMA).

The main focus of this consignment is centered on a thorough evaluation of the research progress of each participant. Students are encouraged to develop concrete study completion targets and strengthen intellectual commitment to anticipate various technical obstacles that often trigger stagnation in thesis and dissertation writing.

For a full day, the participants experienced a dense and productive academic atmosphere. The series of events was filled with presentations of research progress, self-writing sessions to spur the productivity of manuscript work, and a discussion room for directed revisions.

This academic mentoring process involved 17 expert lecturers, including the leadership of SPs. The presence of the accompanying lecturers is intended to provide substantial input so that students' thesis and dissertation manuscripts are more mature and ready to be submitted to the exam desk.

As a follow-up to this activity, the deadline was also applied to participants. Students who have not taken the proposal exam are given a registration deadline of Monday, September 28, 2026.

The consignment activity was officially closed by the Director of SPs UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Zulkifli, M.A. In his remarks, he expressed his appreciation to the lecturers who have dedicated their time, as well as to the students who participated in the entire series of sessions with high enthusiasm.

Closing his direction, Prof. Zulkifli reaffirmed the main commitment of the institution so that all students can successfully achieve graduation on time. Through this initiative, SPs UIN Jakarta hopes that students  will not only meet administrative targets, but also be able to produce quality scientific works that will have a wide impact on society.
