SPs Holds Evaluation Meeting and Lecture Preparation for Even Semester 2024/2025
Ruang Teater SPs UIN Jakarta, BERITA SEKOLAH: The Graduate School (SPs) of Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta held an evaluation meeting for the 2024/2025 odd semester lectures and preparation for the 2024/2025 even semester lectures on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at the SPs Theater Room.
The Director of SPs, Prof. Dr. Zulkifli, MA, opened the event by thanking the lecturers for their presence. He expressed his appreciation for the dedication of the teachers in carrying out the odd semester lectures for 2024/2025. This meeting aims to evaluate the implementation of lectures that have been running and prepare for the 2024/2025 even semester lectures so that they can run even better.
Prof. Dr. Yusuf Rahman, MA, as the deputy director of SPs, explained the evaluation of lectures in the odd semester 2024/2025, the course structure, the number of courses that will be carried out in the even semester of 2024/2025, as well as the obligations that lecturers must fulfill in teaching. The lecturers showed high enthusiasm in participating in this event. This can be seen from the many questions asked regarding the lecture mechanism which will start on March 3, 2024.
One of the important information conveyed in this meeting was about the implementation of lectures during the month of Ramadan. The deputy director of SPs said that the lecture would be held online in accordance with the Rector's circular Number.B-126/R/PP.00.9/02/2025. This policy was taken to provide convenience for students and lecturers in carrying out Ramadan worship.
This meeting is a manifestation of SPs UIN Jakarta's commitment to continue to improve the quality of education. With careful evaluation and preparation, it is hoped that even semester lectures can run smoothly and provide optimal benefits for students.
At the end of the event, the Director of SPs emphasized that all efforts made so far aim to improve the quality of teaching and writing student theses/dissertations. He hopes that, through careful evaluation and preparation, the learning process at SPs can run better and produce quality graduates.
