SPs UIN Jakarta Holds Study Acceleration Consignment
Auditorium of Prof. Dr. Suwito, MA SPs UIN Jakarta, SPs NEWS - The Graduate School (SPs) of the State Islamic University (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a Study Acceleration Consignment for master's and doctoral students. The event, which lasted for three days, from Wednesday to Friday, October 15-17, 2025, took place at the ADIA Convention Center, South Tangerang, and was attended by dozens of SPs students.
This consignment is specifically designed to be a catalyst, encouraging master's (S2) and doctoral (S3) students who have entered the final semesters to immediately complete their academic writing stages. The main goal is to ensure that they can immediately register for the Proposal exam and the Thesis/Dissertation Work in Progress (WIP) Exam.
The Director of SPs UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Zulkifli, MA, officially opened this activity with a strong motivating message. In his remarks, Prof. Zulkifli emphasized the importance of initiative and speed in writing. "If you want to finish your studies, then immediately write and register for the exam," he said, giving a clear target time.
Prof. Zulkifli also set a strict deadline, challenging the mahassiwa to act immediately. He emphasized that registration for the thesis/dissertation proposal exam or Work in Progress must be done no later than two weeks after this consignment ends. This claim aims to break the impasse in the academic writing process.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Director of SPs, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Rahman, MA, also gave an injection of enthusiasm. He reminded the participants that they are selected students, "You are a selected student, so take advantage of this opportunity to finish writing immediately, so that you can graduate according to the expected time," he ordered.
This activity was attended by 75 students, consisting of 30 master's students and 45 doctoral students. To ensure effective and directed assistance, this consignment also involves 16 accompanying lecturers who are in charge of providing direct direction and guidance.
The response from the students who became participants was very positive. One of the student representatives expressed his happiness, "I am very happy to be invited to this event, to be able to rekindle my enthusiasm to write and complete my studies." This statement reflects the success of consignment in reactivating academic motivation.
By seeing the enthusiasm and commitment shown, the leaders of the Graduate School of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta have high hopes. They are optimistic that the consignment of accelerated studies will bring good results, namely a significant increase in the number of master's and doctoral students who successfully complete their studies on time.
