Auditorium Prof. Dr. Suwito, MA SPs UIN Jakarta, BERITA SPs: The Graduate School of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held the 137th Release of Prospective Graduates of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta at the Auditorium of Prof. Dr. Suwito, MA of the Graduate School on Friday, August 22, 2025.

This event was attended by the leaders of the Graduate School (SPs), Prof. Dr. Zulkifli, M.A. (Director), Prof. Dr. Yusuf Rahman, M.A. (Vice Director), Prof. Dr. JM Muslimin, M.A. (Head of the Islamic Studies Doctoral Study Program), Hamdani, M.Ag.., Ph.D. (Head of the Islamic Studies Master's Study Program), Dr. Maswani, M.A. (Secretary of the Islamic Studies Doctoral Study Program), Dr. Rizqi Handayani, M.A. (Secretary of the Islamic Studies Master's Study Program),  Afif Ahmad Faisal, S.T., M.M. (Head of the Administration Subdivision), several education staff, and prospective graduation participants of the Master's and Doctoral Programs of the Graduate School. Their presence shows the full support of the SPs academic community for its alumni.

In his remarks, the Director of SPs, Prof. Zulkifli, congratulated all prospective graduates. He advised that the relationship between alumni and SPs will never be broken. "Once you enter SPs, you will never let go and will continue to be part of SPs," he said.

He also invited alumni to become ambassadors of SPs in the community. "If there is anything good from SPs, convey it to the outside. If anything is not good, tell us directly," he added, emphasizing the importance of two-way communication for institutional improvement.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Director, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Rahman, M.A., explained the profiles of Masters and Doctoral graduates who are expected to make a real contribution to society. He also provides special motivation to Master's graduates to continue their studies to the Doctoral level. Prof. Yusuf advised them to choose a university with a minimum quality equivalent to SPs, or even continue their studies abroad. He added that UIN alumni who won the laude predicate can directly enter SPs without going through a test.

At this graduation, the Graduate School donated 37 graduates, consisting of 19 graduates of the Master's Program and 18 graduates of the Doctoral Program. This number shows the consistency of SPs in producing excellent graduates who are ready to compete in the professional and academic worlds.

One of the most anticipated moments is the announcement of the best graduates. Abdul Wahid Wathoni was selected as the best graduate of the Master's program. He successfully completed his studies within 4 semesters with a thesis entitled "Exclusivity of Halal Certification: An Analysis of the Resistance of MSME Actors in Gili Trawangan Lombok." This achievement became an inspiration for other students.

The peak event, namely the 137th graduation ceremony of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta for Graduate School, will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025. This moment will be the closing of the graduates' series of academic struggles.

The leadership and all staff of the Graduate School congratulated and succeeded all prospective graduates. "Hopefully the knowledge gained while studying at the Graduate School can be useful in the future and can dedicate their knowledge and abilities to the advancement of religion, nation, and state," said the hope conveyed to the graduates. They are expected to be agents of positive change in various fields.(JA)
