The Graduate School of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta accepts new student registrations both online and in person. For online submission, documents must be scanned and uploaded; for in-person submission, documents should be photocopied. All accepted students are required to present their original documents during the re-registration process as part of their enrollment as new students.

A. Registration Requirements

1. Copy of Degree Certificate: For Master’s Programme entry, a copy of a Bachelor’s degree certificate is required; for Doctoral Programme entry, a copy of a Master’s degree certificate is required. The degree must be from an accredited programme and certified by an authorized official.
2. Copy of Accreditation Status Certificate: Proof of programme and institution accreditation status by BAN-PT or other credible international accreditation bodies.
3. PDDIKTI Verification: The screenshot shows the "Passed" status on PDDIKTI (https://pddikti.kemdikbud.go.id/).
4. Academic Transcript: Copy of transcript showing a minimum GPA of 3.00 or equivalent.
5. Photographs: Two (2) recent photos, sizes 3x4 cm and 2x3 cm.
6. Curriculum Vitae: Including a comprehensive list of published scientific papers.
7. Recommendation Letters: Two letters from institutions or individuals qualified to evaluate the applicant’s academic competence.
8. Financial Support Statement (Self-Funded): Statement declaring the applicant’s ability to cover tuition fees if self-funded.
9. Financial Support Statement (Sponsored): Statement from the sponsoring agency or individual confirming support for tuition costs.
10. Workplace Permission Letter: Letter of permission from the applicant’s workplace, if employed.
11. Compliance Statement: Self-issued statement of willingness to abide by the policies of the Graduate School of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
12. Health and Drug-Free Certificates: Health certificate from an authorized physician and a drug-free declaration from an authorized body.
13. Identification Documents: Copy of a valid KTP, SIM, Passport, and Visa (if applicable).
14. Research Proposal: Three (3) copies of a Master's thesis proposal (minimum 15 pages, B5 size, double-sided) and four (4) copies of a Doctoral dissertation proposal (minimum 20 pages, B5 size, double-sided).
15. Payment of Fees: Proof of payment for registration and entrance examination fees as per requirements.

Registration requirements are accepted via Expedition/Postal Services, email, Online Forms, and others.

Notes:
The Graduate School of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta accepts graduates of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta with a Cum Laude distinction without requiring them to take the entrance exam. However, they must still pay the applicable registration administration fee.

B. Registration Timeline

1. The Islamic Studies Programme offers online registration for prospective students of both the Master’s and Doctoral Programmes.
2. Registration for classes is available each semester in both the Odd and Even Semesters. Registration documents may be submitted via delivery service, online, or directly to the Secretariat on working days.
3. Classes for the Odd Semester take place from August to December, while classes for the Even Semester run from February to June.

C. Entrance Exam Material

The entrance exam material includes:

1. Arabic and English language skills are measured by TOAFL, ETIC and Reading Comprehension tests. ETIC and TOAFL tests are held by the Language Development Centre of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
2. Indonesian Language Ability (TIPA) and Reading Comprehension for prospective international students. The TIPA test is held by the UIN Jakarta Language Development Centre.
3. Academic Potential Test (TPA) from the Psychology Service Centre of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
4. Islamic insight and field of interest as written in the thesis/dissertation proposal (oral/interview).
